Can you get injections to make your hair grow?
Injections of corticosteroids: To help your hair regrow, your dermatologist injects this medication into the bald (or thinning) areas. These injections are usually given every 4 to 8 weeks as needed, so you will need to return to your dermatologist’s office for treatment.

Can scalp injections cause weight gain?
Possible side effects: The injection may cause temporary skin thinning and the prednisone may cause weight gain, metabolic abnormalities, acne, and menstrual problems. The positive effects are only temporary.
Can I put steroid cream on my scalp?
In people with seborrheic dermatitis of the face or scalp, use of topical steroids for 4 weeks or less reduces symptoms more than placebo but has a similar effect to calcineurin inhibitors or azoles.
